After a failed attempt to prove that humans really can fly and a few weeks of healing, the neck brace is off and we¹re back on the road!  Sadly, we had to cancel all appearances in support of the new A Month Of Sonnets Book during the recent Southern Festival of Books in Nashville. Apologies to those of you who made the trip. Hope you enjoyed the other authors and artists that weekend.

Thanks to Mary Gauthier for the invitation to share songs with her, Verlon Thompson and Beth Nielsen Chapman at her Performing Songwriter Workshop at the Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville in early November. A moving evening, for sure.

Easing back in to the groove in mid-November, there were two amazing writers-in-the-round: one at the magical Balsam Mountain Inn in Western North Carolina with Annie McCue & Peter Cooper; the other at the world famous The Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN with Tim O’Brien, Scott Miller and Abbie Gardner (of Red Molly). What a boost!
