PARTY ON THE RAILS:
The Dave Alvin "West of the West" Roots On The Rails Train tour is over but long from forgotten. The train tour is much like the "jam-band" music cruises where a lot of great artists and great fans gather in one vehicle for a musical adventure. It's an adventure on many levels. Lots of fun, lots of thanks due. Learn more about these trips HERE.

BILLY SHAKES ANNIVERSARY YEAR:
The annual annual Nashville Shakespeare Festival's "Shakespeare In The Park" presentation is heating up and finalizing casting. Make your Summertime plans to visit Nashville, TN mid-August through mid-September to see David Olney make his Shakespearian acting debut in "As You Like It"! David is also composing original, contemporary music along with Stan Lawarence for the theatrical production. Come celebrate the 450th Anniversary of Wlliam Shakespeare's birthday with a little tragedy and certainly some comedy.
WHEN IS THIS "DEAL" GOING DOWN?
The forthcoming "WHEN THE DEAL GOES DOWN" album (Available July 8, 2014, Deadbeet Records) is at the pressing plant and expected back before the end of the month. Those of you who contributed to the Kickstarter campaign will receive your full Rewards – hopefully – by mid-June, or sooner. Some of you have already received some Rewards (see Tour Travelogue below). We're still finalizing a one-of-a-kind T-shirt design for those who pledged, as well. This shirt will not be available anywhere else, so you know it'll be special.
May means our press & publicity and radio promotion efforts are ramping up. We'll let you know when your local radio station should have the new music. If you'd like to see David Olney play in your town, please contact MarySackManagement [at] gmail [dot] com In the meantime, we've been tooting around in the streets of Nashville at Midnight, working up a little art film culled from the new recording:
