WHO PUT THE CBGB IN THE BOP SHOO BOP, SHOO BOP?
David Olney makes his solo debut at the Annual CBGB Festival in New York City on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013. CBGB (Country, BlueGrass, and Blues) was a music club at 315 Bowery at Bleecker Street in the borough of Manhattan in New York City. Founded by Hilly Kristal in 1973, it was originally intended to feature its namesake musical styles, but became a forum for American punk and New Wave bands….and now, David Olney.
This year’s festival features 525 artists of various genres performing in more than 175 venues in the City. The Oct. 11 showcase includes David, TOMMY RAMONE, SAM BAKER and ARIANNA GILLIS – all presented by our friends at Folk Alliance International.
Venue details and more info here: Subculture – 45 Bleeker St. – NY, NY 10012
