With a few days off between Shakespeare In The Park(s) in Middle Tennessee, David picks up his six-string for a couple of performances during Americana Music Week AKA AmericanaFest in Nashville Sept. 19-25, 2016. You have two opportunities to lay witness on the #RoadToAmericanaFest:

Thurs., Sept. 22 from 5-8 pm at The 5 Spot
Sitting in with The Mark Robinson Showband for several songs, as is Knoxville’s newly recognized first official Poet Laureate RB Morris. The show is Free for badge/wristband holders. $5 for all others.

Sat., Sept. 24 from 7-9:30 pm at Bobby’s Idle Hour on Music Row
This one is nothing but net, with David and his band rockin’ the full set. No cover. Mind the jar.

Coming in mid-October, David will present his newly published A Month Of Sonnets(Music City Publishing) — at Humanities Tennessee’s 28th Annual Southern Festival of Books — at the War Memorial Plaza in downtown Nashville. He’ll also be performing with The Nashville Shakespeare Festival’s “The Bard In-the-Round” at the SFoB as well as performing in a Literary Songwriter’s  Round at Douglas Corner with RB Morris, Tom House & Michael Supe Granda.
